In 2003, I let my family talk me into buying a Victorian style home built in 1875. The house was in great need of repair since it had not been maintained for at least 10 years. It needed of a new roof, a new furnace, new wiring, new windows and repaired floors, walls and ceilings (not to mention the non-existent landscaping). But according to my family, this house has great potential!

We've started making many of the necessary repairs but there's still a long way to go.
